2025 at Camp CenterStageWe Are Camp CenterStage:
We are excited to announce our 2025 season:
Camp CenterStage will be celebrating our 16th anniversary in 2025! As the lyrics state “16 springs and 16 summers gone now”... CCS provides campers and staff an opportunity to explore what they love (the arts) all while participating in character building experiences! A day at CCS is equal to so much more than 24 hours. Campers attend daily studios of their choice and rotate through singing, dancing, mentor and workshop sessions which allow them to explore a variety of arts based as well as traditional camping experiences. Campers share in community living by sharing a cabin with their fellow campers, a CIT (counselor in training) and/or LIT (leader in training) and their counselor. Our days are filled with opportunities to learn life-long skills, hone crafts, explore new experiences and support each other! Building community is what we do best here at CCS. Campers are encouraged to set daily and camp-long goals and meet with their mentors on a daily basis to set out steps to accomplish these goals. Each day campers have the opportunity to swim, sing, dance, hike, act, play games and make new friends. We have many community enrichment experiences including: visiting local farms and dairies where we pick season fruits and see how ice cream is made; working with Silver Sneakers seniors wellness group in Livermore Falls; visiting and sharing with campers at Camp Sunshine in Casco (family camp for children with life-threatening illness); our long-time friendships with the Life Center (part of John F Murphy Homes, Inc) in Auburn (providing outstanding services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and other developmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder). Cabins are camper’s “home away from home” – a place where they can enjoy living with past and new friends and develop their social skills in a community living situation. We generally place campers in cabins in two-year age groupings so that they live with similar stages of development. All of our cabins and buildings at Maple Lane are named after famous theaters from around the world, including our new 2,400 square foot Starlight Pavilion. Join us in 2025 for a summer filled with wonderful memories. |

Happy Campers
"Thank you again for another incredible summer. So much joy, energy and creativity on the part of the staff and kids. I said to my son over ice cream yesterday that the amount of fun packed into 12 days is unbelievable - he wholly agreed, and he said it was an even better summer than last year!"
"A few days from the close of CCS for 2014, it seems appropriate to send you all our thanks (again). The CCS family wrapped another flawless session. Every year it seems to just keep improving. It is remarkable what you do with the the group in less than 2 weeks."
"Today was the first day back at school and I see that confidence from CCS carried over into her daily school experience. That's why I send her there; it's why you guys do what you do.
And you do it SO WELL."
And you do it SO WELL."
"My word for this CCS community would be 'Compassion'. So much love and care was put into this camp and there was not a single day that was never filled with joy, smiles, laughter and most importantly the warm hugs we all know and enjoy. We had compassion towards each other but also towards the nature around us."
